Job Description
- Analyze drawings, layouts, sketches and other related data to determine the capacity of the solar PV system as well as recommend the PV modules and inverters to be used
- Conduct survey visits of areas using various measuring tools and testing equipment
- Provide project descriptions and layouts for the proposals
- Develop designs using advanced computer software (PVsyst, Sunny Design, AutoCAD) in finalizing specificationsKnowledge in other materials and software such as Sketchup, ETAP, Solar Pathfinder, PV Studio, Solar GIS, and NREL SWERA
- Research new development and innovations
- Provide Single Line Diagram and Bill of Materials of the DC Side of the solar PV System
- Determine the PV mounting system to be used
- Review and consider cost, safety and effectiveness of the materials and equipment
- Coordinate with other teams to accomplish required tasks
- Monitor the progress and accomplishments of each member of the team
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Write and present reports
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Engineering (Civil), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.
- At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in Engineering - Electrical or equivalent.
- Previous experience in solar PV systems is an advantage
- Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Office, MS Project
- PV Installer Certification is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Driven, responsible, punctual, and know how to get things done
- Strong analytical and planning skills;
- Good communication and presentation skills;
- Excellent problem-solving skills;
- Willing to be assigned in different locations when necessary
- Required language(s): English, Filipino
