Job Description
The Permitting and Compliance Officer is responsible for the regulatory, permitting, and compliance requirements of national government agencies. He/she is responsible for all regulatory permit, endorsements, and certification requirements. The position holder will be working under the Commercial Sales Operations Team and is responsible for monitoring and ensuring that compliance, reportorial, and statutory requirements are submitted and accepted on time.
- Establish a network with related agencies
- Monitor all permits and compliance activities related to the requirements of DOE BOI and other related agencies
- Facilitate all communication issues arising from assigned regulatory agencies
- Provide regular updates with the team pertaining to various rulings, issuances, and regulatory updates related to permitting and compliance under his/her team
- Regulatory reports of concerned regulatory agencies
- Create a monitoring template and process flow
- Motivate and provide guidance to team members
- Maintain monitoring sheet and performance evaluation matrix subject for quarterly evaluation and inputs
- Perform other duties that may be assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/College Degree in Renewable Energy, Environmental Science, Electrical Engineering, or related
- Must possess good leadership skills
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to plan and execute tasks
- Must be computer literate
- At least 3 years of work experience in similar renewable energy projects
