Job Description
- Establish and implement strategies for negotiating commodity purchase agreements based on in-depth knowledge of foreign and domestic markets for pricing and terms most favorable to the company
- Develop and execute Local and Global commodity strategies/agreements
- Maintain a detailed understanding of supplier capabilities, industry trends, market conditions, and technologies
- Establish and ensure achievement of all performance metrics for assigned Suppliers and Commodities
- Ensure company and regulatory policy compliance
- Manage Accounts Payable
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/College degree in Engineering, Business or any related field
- 8 to 10 years of progressive relevant experience, preferably within a high-tech environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficient in the use of major ERP systems, such as Oracle and SAP
- Extensive experience developing global contracts and a leading role in negotiations, and the required analysis
- Knowledgeable in computer hardware, associated supply chain software and systems, and communication devices
- Outstanding negotiation skills
- Ability to deliver and manage complex programs, cross-functional business /capability, development, and change initiatives
- Ability to think globally/strategically, turn information into effective strategies that drive results
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Experience working in a highly complex, technical environment
- Must be willing to travel as required
