Job Description

We are looking for a creative, passionate, data-driven content writer to run the majority of the content marketing at Snapcart. A writer who can dig up our shopper data statistics and produce interesting shopper insights for readers like brand managers, market research team, trade marketing team of FMCG companies. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to dive into first-hand proprietary data, analyze and churn into interesting articles that attract business clients and partners.

This role is pivotal in the development of content that increases awareness, build credibility and brand equity for Snapcart. This position will primarily deal with client-facing content and act as the gatekeeper who determines the readiness and accuracy of each article before being published. You will also be managing our website to help drive traffic and converting that traffic into leads.

​​​​​​​Responsibilities

  • Brainstorm and strategize fresh content executions that will educate and engage readers while producing high response and/or conversion rates from clients
  • Conceive, write and edit contents including but not limited to: articles, press releases, white papers, video, email marketing
  • Creation and management of editorial calendars that attract qualified audiences to the website - this includes blog posts, white papers, reports, infographics, social posts, etc.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to ensure content aligns with Snapcart’s overall strategy
  • Work closely with data scientist team to pull out relevant data for contents and with business development team to create content that clients would be interested in
  • Track content performance and conversion analytics across multiple channels and report key learnings, and continually refining process
  • Optimization of the marketing and lead nurturing process via email, content, and social channels as necessary strategy dictates
  • In charge of driving site traffic, converting that traffic into new leads for the business development team. Work closely with business development team and marketing team to constantly improve website content to generate more interest

Minimum Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a solid technical aptitude, proven ability to write clearly, analytical ability to create a hypothesis, and analyze data, has some basic knowledge of business and has the capability of working individually or collaboratively in a cross-functional team.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, journalism or communications
  • 1 to 3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably for a business-related company
  • Excellent grammatical skills and the ability to develop content that requires little to no editing
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understand and communicate technical subjects in a clear, concise, and engaging manner
  • Excellent communicator and creative thinker, who believes in using data and analytics to inform all decisions.
  • Bonus skills: an interest in digital marketing, inbound lead generation, and SEO content optimization
