Job Description
The Paralegal will provide support to the Legal and Compliance department; draft and review contracts, letters/ communications, research; perform records-keeping, monitoring and various administrative and other related functions.
Responsibilities:
- Perform research and leg work related to various issues and concerns of the organization.
- Assist Legal and Compliance in the drafting, review, revision, and execution of various contracts pertinent to the operation of the various functional groups of the corporation.
- Draft letters, correspondences and transmittals for governmental agencies, units and instrumentalities.
- Assist in liaising with the external counsels by coordinating with the external counsels for their request of documents and transmit the same for the pending cases of the company.
- Assist in the preparation and collation of legal documents (i.e. applications with various government agencies) for subsequent submission.
- Coordinate with other units for requests of corporate documents such as Secretary's Certificates, updated Articles or By-laws and General Information Sheets for reference and filing.
- Perform the inventory and subsequent procurement for needed office supplies.
- Facilitate the paperwork for the reimbursements and liquidations of the members of the department.
- Prepare the requests for payment for the external counsels handling litigation.
- Monitor legal and regulatory compliance by maintaining regulatory and contract registers up to date and keeping electronic copies of the pertinent permits, licenses, and contracts.
- Coordinate with the persons responsible in the plants by sending them monthly Notices for Renewal for any updates or additions to the regulatory and compliance registers.
- Monitor the various cases involving the corporation by maintaining the case folders and case updates from external counsels.
- Keep an electronic repository of various office documents within easy access for the purpose of providing functional groups with copies should the same be needed.

Minimum Qualifications
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Law or equivalent.
- At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Applicants must be willing to work in Taguig City.
- Preferably 2-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in Law/Legal Services or equivalent.
- Project position(s) available.
