Job Description
- Leads the immersion and knowledge gathering initiatives with Business Owners to understand their operating environment better –such as, but not limited to system, platform, processes, standards, policies, tools, human capital, customers, hardware, network, equipment, etc. and uses this knowledge for the audit plan to be approved by his/her supervisor.
- Performs ground level audit activities for assigned engagements, such as but not limited to field checks, in-depth-interviews, process reviews, testing, surveys, FGDs documentation reviews, physical hardware checks, asset/equipment inventory check.
- Identifies any additional/alternative audit approach to be applied to address risks or use computer assisted auditing techniques to analyze data.
- Documents audit findings and provide risk assessment and business impact evaluation.
- Assesses adequacy of manual or automated internal controls established for the business process being audited.
- Analyzes & interprets data obtained.
- Prepares audit working papers and summarizes audit exceptions, areas for improvement, saving opportunities and frauds identified in the performance of audit procedures.
- Prepares interim audit reports and ensures that all issues are incorporated.
Minimum Qualifications
- CPA with experience in audit performance, preferably from a fast-paced environment like Telco.
- Relevant certifications not required but will be a huge plus – CIA, Certified IT Auditor, etc.
- Strong communication skills, assertive and able to influence others. Confident to talk to partners up to one level higher.
- Highly analytical and process oriented.
- In-depth knowledge & understanding of IFRS, ISSPIA and general IT concepts and controls.
- Accurate; resourceful, keen in details
- Efficient in time management; Can multi-task; flexible; can work with minimal supervision.
