Job Description
- Plan & develop strategy to & improve operational efficiency & effectiveness
- Deploy all Accounting strategies, processes, policies, systems & metrics that contribute to the overall success of the business
- Implement improvements to enhance existing accounting processes; analyze & resolve issues
- Check compliance / adherence to tax ruling, financial reporting standards & internal control measures; review reports to management & external regulatory reports; recommend controls to eliminate or reduce incidence of fraud
- Perform 2nd level review of voucher package; sign off on voucher package & billing statements
- Build a strong business relationship with the internal client; support management initiatives by building financial models & case studies to support business decisions; review & communicate results of financial & non-financial metrics of the business
Minimum Qualifications
- Certified Public Accountant, with 4 to 7 years of experience in general accounting and audit
- Working knowledge in accounting principles and processes and in government laws on taxation
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications
- Well versed with applicable IFRS
- Well versed in administrative and management duties
