Job Description
About the Role:
Reporting to VP Warehouse, the Senior Warehouse Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, controlling and directing operations/functions of assigned branch warehouse.
The Senior Warehouse Manager will coordinate with the selling / non-selling / other warehouse branches
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the over-all supervision of personnel assigned in his department
- Coordinates and works with VP-Warehouse on measure that they may be implemented to improve warehousing activities; implements suggested improvement plans upon approval by the Senior Assistant Vice President of Store Operations & Functional Head
- Monitors and controls movement of stocks within his area of responsibility
- Responsible for the smooth flow of operations
- Deals with and acts on concerns of Business Units/Selling Manager/Merchandise Managers regarding warehouse service
- Coordinates with the Selling Managers on proper implementation of warehousing activities in consonance with standard procedures
- Prepares and finalize personnel and supplies budget
- Makes sure that all documents are properly endorsed to the concerned areas/units
- Ascertains orderliness of the work area to ensure systematic flow of work; ensures proper storage and cleanliness, as preventive measure against fire or accidents
- Implements safety and security control measure in consonance to corporate standard
- Supports Management decisions, requirements and expectations
- Ensures good housekeeping, proper maintenance and use of supplies/facilities/equipment in accordance with approved budget limits
- Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time
Minimum Qualifications
Key Qualifications:
- With high level of integrity
- Strong analytical capability
- Capable in leading a team
- Knowledgeable in Warehouse and Distribution
- Has strong interpersonal skills
Education and Experience
- In-depth knowledge of WMS systems, as well as warehouse and distribution center operations
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Industrial/Mechanical)
- 7 -10 years’ experience in the respective field with management experience
