IP Core Security and Capacity Planning Administrator  

The IP Core Security and Capacity Planning Administrator is responsible for capacity planning, design, expansion and implementation of IP Core network to support SKY's internet and Video business requirements. He or she will manage related IP Core expansion and roll out. As Security Lead, he or she will lead the integration and standardization of all aspects of network and systems security policies and domains (physical, access domain and cyber threat.) He or she will interface with key stakeholders within the organization to support the delivery of service strategy.

• Defines and develop security program and plans; Identify potential IP Core security risks, collaborate with IP Core Administrators & Support teams in developing safeguards against security intrusions, and implement emergency procedures in the event of an IP Core service interruption
• Performs network and system vulnerability assessments and conduct trade-off studies to recommend methods on countering threats, and executing corrective actions
• Conduct security forensic exploration and analysis
• Perform periodic audits of existing Security Plan and report to management on any improvements that need to be made
• Perform periodic drills and simulations to validate the accuracy and effectiveness of the Security Plan and measures
• Ensure that security plans and policies are compliance to government regulatory policies
• Ensure network and systems related to security have active licenses and maintenance agreement
• Lead the IP Core & Support Department in Business Contingency Planning; Identify potential IP Core interruptions, collaborate with business continuity team in developing safeguards against interruptions, and implement recovery procedures in the event of a business interruption
• Document IP Core policies and procedures related to security, business continuity and disaster recovery

• Holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering; Licensed Engineer or with professional level Industry Certification (ie. CSSP, CEH or Security+)
• With at least 5 years technical work experience in large network and data center environments, preferably with security support experience in Telco/ISP
• With solid understanding of Layer 2 switching and Layer 3 routing concepts, Linux server adminstration, and of RF (upstream and downstream, capacity, speeds, and narrowcast vs. broadcast)
• Experienced in deploying, commissioning and adminstrating CMTS; Have handled medium to large scale projects
• Has basic knowledge in Database and Programming
• With valid driver's license
