Job Description
- Evaluate expansions or enhancements by studying work load and capacity of the computer system.
- Achieve computer system objectives by gathering pertinent data; identifying and evaluating options; recommending a course of action.
- Improve existing programs by reviewing objectives and specifications; evaluate proposed changes; recommend changes; making modifications.
- Place hardware into production by establishing connections; entering necessary commands.
- Prepare reference for users by writing operating instructions.
- Apply diagnostic utilities to aid in troubleshooting
- Maintain historical records by documenting hardware and software changes and revisions.
- Submit weekly reports to immediate supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in an IT discipline or equivalent
- 2 to 3 years experience in the same field and level
- Experience in leading technical evaluations
- Problems solving skills
- Knowledge in database performance tuning
- Experienced in network design and implementation
