Warehouse Supervisor  

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Inventory

Ensures accuracy of inventory by conducting daily physical counts, reconciling variances, and encoding data including inbound and outbound stocks and relays to Chief Operating Officer, Accounting Manager, and Logistics Planner.

Effectively monitors inventory level (at least 60 days if imported and 15 days if locally manufactured) in the warehouse and sends a report of inventory level weekly to Chief Operating Officer and Logistics Planner.

Receives and creates Return to Vendor (RTV) monitoring for incoming Bad Orders (with actual weight and condition) from importations, customers, and jobbers.

2. Documentation

Ensures the integrity and completeness of all documents from drivers and/or any third-party trucking provider.

Sends complete signed copies of all Logistics transactions, including but not limited to outbound delivery and inbound delivery documents to the Accounting Department Head Office weekly.

Maintains a record and monitors all routed Logistics related documents.

3. Warehousing

Ensures timeliness and accuracy in all deliveries.

Ensures effective utilization of warehouse areas by putting into consideration the movement and turnover of items being stored.

Ensures proper maintenance of warehouse assets, including but not limited to trucks, forklifts, jack lifts, pallets and etc.

Coordinated with partner maintenance providers for the inspections and repairs of warehouse assets.

4. Staff Management

Motivates and leads the warehouse staff to effectively carry out given tasks.

Efficiently assigns fleets to and manages the schedule of drivers as set by the Logistics Planner

Monitors itinerary of drivers and records assigned helpers accordingly using an allocated system.

5. Financial Management

In charge of handling the petty cash assigned to the warehouse for deliveries and allowances of drivers.

Effectively monitors daily cash advances and reimbursement of warehouse personnel with complete attachments such as official receipts and invoices.

Request for petty cash replenishments from the Accounting Department.

6. Other Tasks

Improves and/or develops warehouse work processes through strategic planning in order to create a more efficient fulfillment system.

Provides advice and support to other departments on production planning, inventory control, and warehouse matters.

Performs any other tasks as may be required.

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's / College Degree
• At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field.
• Knowledgeable in the warehousing technique, standard stocking practices, and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
