Job Description
- Manage and oversee daily operations of the Accounting Department which includes but not limited to financial accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable and payroll
- Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports and statements
- Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles
- Ensure that financial reports comply with generally accepted accounting principles or financial reporting standards
- Identify and recommend updates to accounting processes and procedures
- Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
- Oversee the system of internal controls over Accounting functions to minimize risk
- Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliancy and accuracy
Minimum Qualifications
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required
- Five years or more related working experience
- Mastery of accounting and tax preparation software
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
- Excellent Managerial skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
