Job Purpose

  • The creation and conversion to sale of high quality tailor-made itineraries for current and future Shroff clients either outbound or inbound. You are ultimately responsible for planning, selling and implementation of itineraries.
  • Make the most of every single genuine 'sales enquiry' received, balancing your time appropriately to maximise revenue and profit.
  • Ensure the product sold to our clients and the supporting information is to the highest standard.
  • Achieve levels of client service at all stages of the process to engender repeat business.
  • Take appropriate opportunities to up-sell and switch-sell to Shroff preferred products.
  • Interacting with our clients mostly over the telephone - with some face to face meetings either in the office or at PR events.
  • Keeping in touch with product developments in your region, ensuring that you remain a true specialist with up to date commercial knowledge and understanding of hotels/flights/infrastructure.
  • Demonstrating a total commitment to customer service. It's your goal to ensure all clients return home having had a trip which exceeds their expectations.
  • Responsible for the monitoring of Business Travel, Ticketing & Leisure & Documentation
  • Ensures the tasks of all Team Members are being executed.
  • Orients and evaluates the performance of Team members in accordance with
    the Department’s action plans
  • Formulates, recommends and implements appropriate solutions to ensure the
    achievement of the sales targets.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all Travel Assistants adhere to the company
    Standards & procedures (SLA’s)
  • Evaluates Travel Assistants and makes corresponding recommendations to the
    Human Resource Dept for further trainings required or other necessary actions
  • Responsible for daily monitoring of the Travel Assistants to ensure that all
    accounts are served, developed & maximized and given due attention at all
    times
  • Monitor preferred partners (Tour Operators, B2B suppliers, etc) and ensuring
    that the terms of agreement are always favorable to the company before
    forwarding the contract for signature.
  • Ensures continued good supplier relations, credit lines and consistent excellent
    supplier performance
  • Evaluates supplier performance and makes corresponding action plans
  • Ensures the development, maintenance and proper utilization of a supplier
    database
  • Negotiate with Airlines for preferential rates and better incentive programs.
  • Coordinating with the Embassies and pertinent Government Agencies (DFA and
    BID) for important updates, requirements or any urgent matters.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduate of Tourism Management or any other relevant course.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in Trave Industry or Hospitality Industry.
  • Strong Analytical & Leadership Skills
