Purpose
- The creation and conversion to sale of high-quality tailor-made itineraries for current and future Shroff clients either outbound or inbound. You are ultimately responsible for planning, selling and implementation of itineraries.
- Make the most of every single genuine 'sales enquiry' received, balancing your time appropriately to maximise revenue and profit.
- Ensure the product sold to our clients and the supporting information is to the highest standard.
- Achieve levels of client service at all stages of the process to engender repeat business.
- Take appropriate opportunities to up-sell and switch-sell to Shroff preferred products.
- Interacting with our clients mostly over the telephone - with some face to face meetings either in the office or at PR events.
- Keeping in touch with product developments in your region, ensuring that you remain a true specialist with up to date commercial knowledge and understanding of hotels/flights/infrastructure.
- Demonstrating a total commitment to customer service. It's your goal to ensure all clients return home having had a trip which exceeds their expectations.
Minimum Qualifications
- Handles clients who require Visa Assistance and Indian Embassy Consular Services
- Updates Visa and Consular Tracker
- Plan and prioritize tasks and activities towards achieving agreed business aims- especially managing personal time and productivity.
- Arranges reservations and routing for passengers using timetables, airline manuals, reference guides, and Computer Reservations System (CRS/GDS- Abacus, Amadeus, Cebu Pacific, Air, Asia Air Philippines, etc.)
- Prepares quotations for clients with breakdown of net and selling costs.
- Computes sales for preparation of Travel Order Request Form to compile Daily Sales Report.
- Performs other tasks that may be assigned by immediate superior from time to time.
