Job Description

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop technological systems:
  • Be the Subject Matter Expert for all things API, includes but not limited to integrations, documentation and use cases.
  • Create and review relevant design documentation, testing, training, and post-deployment assessments. Audit to identify problems, prioritise, and arrive at possible solutions, includes but not limited to combing through communications to review and improve existing workflows, pro-actively spot issues and trends, and communicate those to the appropriate groups.
  • Develop compelling customer-facing information utilising integrated services to enhance our business transparency and connection with our customers.
  • Assist clients with all aspects of our Business Intelligence tools and API integrations. Manage client-facing dashboards to ensure accurate, timely and relevant information is available.
  • Work effectively within the Team:
  • Work closely with the Operations Manager to develop and maintain excellent internal systems integrations to improve the efficiency and purity of information.
  • Establish and maintain active and constructive relationships with other team members in the organisation. Engage with service and management teams in software development discussions to create/improve our systems.
  • Assist non-technical users in potential outcomes that can be achieved using our various systems. Receive and execute incoming work in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Plan and prioritise work effectively with good internal and external communication to ensure a ‘no surprises’ approach to all delegated tasks
  • Process Management & Administration: Accurate use of all company systems.
  • Implementation of appropriate Policies & Procedures as and when required.
  • Customer Service:
  • ‘Raving fan’ service to clients that is highly responsive.

Minimum Qualifications

Skills, Experience & Education

Essential:

  • Degree in Computer Science or Business Information Systems or 3+ years working in a technical role with APIs.
  • 3+ years experience in a technical role where there was direct contact with customers, programmers and/or product professionals
  • Extensive experience in using APIs and web services to integrate systems, including Office 365 (specifically SharePoint, Flow and PowerApps)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical ability.
  • Attention to detail and job accuracy.
  • Ability to deal with complex and challenging client issues. Self-motivated and self-managing.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Capability to perform in a high-pressure working environment. Ability to manage confidential information.
  • Ability to understand and articulate technical concepts and derive solutions.

Desired:

  • Experience supporting enterprise business systems. General networking knowledge.
  • Knowledge and experience working with web services. Project management skills and experience.
