Job Description
The Graphic Artist is responsible for the production of print ready packaging artwork using desktop software applications to meet our client's packaging requirements.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Understands the different stages of artwork build
- Process driven individual
- Attention to details is a must
- Should be organized and an effective communicator
- Review and understand job ticket instructions to determine the requirements of job production
- Execute job ticket instructions and specifications using appropriate software applications (e.g. illustrator, Photoshop) and reference materials for digital production.
- Proof digital files by using printers in order to combat possile errors in the job.
- Ensure quality and accuracy of all jobs by checking all work performed if it follows established SOP's to enure that all job ticket instructions are met.
- Update the schedulers and team leads regarding job status by submitting time file to facilitate proper monitoring of all jobs.
Minimum Qualifications
- Proficient in Adobe illustrator
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/ College Degree, Fine Arts, Engineering (Industrial), Computer Science/Information Technology, Advertising/Media, Art/Design/Creative Multimedia or equivalent.
- Preferably 1 to 4 years experienced employees specializing in Arts/Creative/Graphics Design or equivalent.
