Job Description
Responsible for monitoring and verifying the actual application of Quality Control and Food Safety Programs in every phase of the manufacturing process of a new and existing product that serve as a mechanism for prevention and detection of substandard products.
Major Responsibilities:
Coordination
- Coordinates with concerned line officer any non-confirming or suspect non-conforming products to prevent substandard and further processing.
- Coordinates with QA Process Section Head on actual product quality trend, non-conformance on QCFS
- Programs and remedial actions done.
Execution
- Grading of products quality based on Acceptance-Rejection Criteria and discuss disposition with line officers to come-up with best possible product treatment.
- Monitoring of actual application of SSOP and GMP imposed on manufacturing operations.
- Performing of SE, interpreting physico-chemical test results and utilizing measurement data collated by support group to determine in-process and finished products quality trend.
- Assessment of quality key points of preventive maintenance activities applied on wrapping machines and performs stat-up test runs on depositor and injection machines to verify efficiency during actual production runs.
- Preparation and generating various reports in accordance with QC documentation system, presents samples if needed and ensures on-time submission to Q.A. Process Section Head for review.
- Performs week ending inventory of unused ingredients utilized by Premix and Breadline.
- Safe keeping and updating of QC files in accordance with QC documents control and retention system.
- Performs other related task that may be assigned from time to time.
Check and Balance
- Checks and evaluates the CCP’s specified at each operational sequence and informs responsible line officer any detected unacceptable risk to product specifications and monitors its progress.
- Checks and ensures identification of nonconforming or suspect non-conforming products.
- Checks and monitors GLP to maintain precision and safety of measuring equipment, analytical test and laboratory facilities.
Minimum Qualifications
- A graduate of Food Technology/Biology/Chemistry/Chemical Engineering
- Strong analytical and planning skills
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Willing to be trained in Valenzuela City for 1-2 Months
