US Tax Manager  

We are seeking a Tax Manager to join the Tax team. We are a full-service accounting firm providing assurance, tax, and consulting services with a focus on mortgage banking and private lending practice.

This person will need to be strong in interacting closely with clients. Provide them with a full spectrum of individual, partnership, corporate, estate, and trust services. You will be working closely with the management team and staff on practice development, client management, and business development.

• CPA license required
• EA License is a plus
• 5-8 years of experience in public accounting focusing on taxation
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field (Master degree in Taxation preferred)
• Self-motivated and a problem solver, providing value to their clients through analyzing and interpreting tax policy, advising corporations on intricate tax matters while keeping up with changing complex tax compliances.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong tax knowledge and the ability to be analytical, do research, critical thinking, and decision making
• Experience with a wide variety of entity types including C and S corporations, partnerships, and individuals
• Experience with multi-state taxation, real estate funds, private equity funds, or banking and financial institutions is a plus
• Strong leadership skills including the ability to mentor and develop professional staff
• Good project management and time management skills, well organized and detail-oriented
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team member
• Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment.
