Job Description
- Machine parts to specifications using machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, shapers, or grinders.
- Measure, examine, and test completed units in order to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using precision instruments such as micrometers.
- Set up, adjust, and operate all of the basic machine tools and many specialized or advanced variation tools in order to perform precision machining operations.
- Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines.
Minimum Qualifications
- Male or Female: 25-40 years old
- Candidate must possess any Engineering or Vocational courses or equivalent.
- Proficient in the understanding of basic and advanced machining and mould maker principles.
- Must be able to interpret drawings and be able to machine required components timely and accurately.
- Must be able to communicate effectively.
- Willing to troubleshoot mold problems and help keep production molds in efficient operating condition.
- Must have artistic ability “a good eye”.
