Job Description

To develop, maintain and enhance Java applications of our client.
Integration of user-facing elements developed by a other departments with server side logic
To collaborate closely with architects, user interface designers, backend engineers, and multiple groups to define and implement application features.
To be able to understand and maintain, develop or enhance Oracle Database
To write well-designed, efficient code that meet the relevant security standards
To participate in: software requirements analysis, collaborative design and code review, and test plan creation
To optimize applications that maximize speed and scale

Minimum Qualifications

Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Having experiences in relational (Oracle, MySQL/MariaDb, Postgresql) and non-relational (e.g., Redis, MongoDb/CouchDb) data stores.
Having understanding of agile development methodologies and working models
Having strong analytical, design, and programming skills
Having excellent source control skills and discipline (GIT/Gitlab)
Having knowledge in secure software development practices (eg: OWASP as reference)
Proficient in any of the following: Java/J2EE and its related frameworks for backend API (eg: Spark, Light4J, JavaSpring, etc) .
Proficient in writing and utilizing RESTful API services and performance tuning large scale applications.
Proficient in writing and utilizing RESTful API services and performance tuning large scale applications.
Experienced in developing web services and data communication such as JSON, XML or REST/SOAP.
Familiar with Linux environment.
Understanding accessibility and security compliance, eg: aware of OWASP Top Security Risks
Knowing service oriented architecture is a PLUS.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with Swagger/Open API for building and documenting API Spec will be a plus
- Experience in Jenkins as integration suite incl. automated testing is a plus
- Having experiences in another general purpose programming language such as Python, Node.js, or Go and its related frameworks is an advantage
- Having knowledge in queueing system (eg: ZeroMQ, RabbitMQ) is advantage)
Positive attitude and having good commitment on responsibilites.
