Job Description
- Prepares Statement of Accounts for clients.
- Monitors and prepares sales invoices and summary of receivables on a periodic basis; Analyzes aging of receivables and prepares recommendation on actions to be taken to generate collection.
- Bookkeeping
- Receives billing statements from suppliers and contarctor's; Reviews completion of supporting documents related to billings on purcahased equipment and materials and contracted services rendered.
- Prepares check vouchers and provides assistance in printing of checks; updatescheck register.
- Assists in the preparation of the withholding tax certificates for distribution to payees and in the summarization of expanded withholding taxes withheld for submission to the Bureau of Internal Revenue; Remits taxes withheld to the BIR; Acts as liason officer with the BIR.
- Handles the payment of monthly utility bills, BIR value added tax returns and other accounts payables assigned.
- Participates in the periodic conducts of inventory of company property such as furniture, facilities,and equipment and materials and supplies.
- Prepares monthly cash flow statements.
- Makes deposits and prepares bank reconciliation reports and undertakes adjustment entries.
- Assists in the monthly closing of the books and in the preparation of accounting reports and schedules.
- Files invoices, check registers, reports and other accounting documents, in the process ensuring confidentiality of classified information.
- Performs administrative tasks within the scope of functions.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's/College Degree, in Finance/Accountancy/Banking/Commerce or equivalent;
- With at least 1-2 years of experience;
- With intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills;
- Experience in any Accounting Software is an advantage; and
- Can work under time pressure.
