Job Description
- Implement, administrate, and manage the corporate network (including WAN, LAN, VLAN, and WLAN).
- Deploy network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, and security solutions.
- Pro-active in ensuring stability, response time, operational consistency, and life cycle over the network, while providing monthly reports on activity, quality, and performance of this network.
- Ensure appropriate documentation, including procedures and SOPs.
- Check the technical prerequisites of the sites to be migrated (existing equipments, location of new router, addressing plan, etc.).
- Install the equipment and do the migration with the operator and local teams.
- Participate in all the required tests such as:
- Fail-over.
- Validate internet breakout.
- Functionality of existing network devices such as:
- Firewall and optimization tools.
- Integrate the newly installed equipment in the monitoring solution.
- Ensure hand-over to support team.
- Administer LAN / WAN networks (MPLS, IPSEC, etc).
- Network hardware configuration (CISCO mostly).
- Ensure protocols configuration and troubleshooting.
- BGP
- RIP
- OSPF
- EIGRP
- STP
- IPsec
- QoS mechanisms
- Ensure Security Administration with Palo Alto Firewall and Juniper SSL.
- WAN Compression and Optimization appliances Riverbed.
- VOIP & TOIP
Minimum Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in network IT.
- Knowledge of Cisco network products is mandatory.
- CCNP Cisco mandatory.
- Self motivated and eager to learn.
- Team player.
- Ability to work with people within and outside of the IT department.
- Excellent English communication skills, verbal, and written.
- Ability to analyze and synthesize situations.
- Ability to Understand the business constraints.
- Ability to evaluate the local risks.
