Job Description
- Design, build, and deliver Adobe Experience Manager components and services on time and on budget using (but not limited to) AEM, JSP, OSGi, JavaScript, and light HTML / CSS;
- Develop, deploy, and manage A/B testing experiments with VWO and/or Optimizely;
- Write clean, logical, and well documented code;
- Troubleshoot technical problems relating to AEM deployments;
- Maintain the day to day integrity of our AEM Publish and Author instances;
- Perform regular maintenance on our AEM sites;
- Work with designers to modify the look and feel of AEM components and templates;
- Integrate AEM solutions with the existing Essilor enterprise stacks, third party vendors, and web services;
- Document AEM architectures, deployments, and knowledge critical to ongoing maintenance of solutions;
- Provide the team with technical guidance on AEM best practices;
- Actively participate in agile ceremonies, design sessions, stand-ups, retrospectives, and code reviews;
- Apply technical best practices such as source control management, change management, and unit testing;
- Stay current with AEM industry trends and incorporate best of breed technology, patterns, and methodologies.
Minimum Qualifications
- 3-5 years developing AEM web applications using AEM components and templates.
- 2+ years maintaining production websites created in AEM;
- 2+ years developing with Java Server Pages (JSP);
- 1+ years working with GIT;
- 1+ years working with OSGi, Apache Sling, and Apache Felix;
- Understanding of REST principles and experience consuming RESTful APIs and web services;
- Willing to step up and own AEM features, platform components and delivery dates;
- Willing to stay up to date on Java and the AEM platform;
- Experience with Google Analytics;
- Ability to document and explain technical details clearly and concisely;
- Excellent project management, teamwork, verbal, and written communication skills.
