Job Description
- Modify AEM templates using HTML5, CSS3, and light jQuery / JavaScript.
- Make incremental design updates to AEM content sections using HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery / JavaScript.
- Translate Photoshop mock-ups into HTML5 / CSS3 and integrate into AEM templates and components.
- Perform light design work on AEM templates and content such as color, alignments, fonts, and spacing changes.
- Manage, format, and reduce the sizing of graphic assets for the AEM environment.
- Document AEM changes, designs, and knowledge critical to ongoing maintenance of solutions.
- Stay current with HTML5, CSS3, and AEM trends.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, design sessions, stand-ups, retrospectives, and code reviews.
- Apply technical best practices such as source control management and change management.
- Stay current with AEM industry trends and incorporate best of breed technology, patterns, and methodologies.
Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years developing with front end web technologies such as:
- HTML5
- CSS3
- jQuery
- JavaScript
- At least 3 years translating design mockups into HTML5 / CSS3 code.
- At least 2 years working with a CSS3 framework such as Bootstrap.
- At least 1 year updating AEM web application content and templates.
- At least 1 year updating content in AEM web sites.
- Deep understanding of CSS web concept.
- Understanding of responsive design.
- Shareable production site that demonstrates your HTML / CSS skills.
- Strong ability to learn new things.
- Ability to step up and own AEM features and delivery dates;
- Stays current on web technologies such as:
- HTML5 standards
- CSS3
- JavaScript
- Browser compatibility, etc.
- Ability to document and explain technical details clearly and concisely.
- Excellent project management, teamwork, verbal, and written communication skills.
