Job Description
- Primary go to person and owner for all Information security matters in the region. Be able to work across multiple departments including IT, HR, legal, M&A, Finance etc.
- Initiates, facilitates, and promotes activities to create information security awareness throughout organization.
- Leads the creation and maintenance of the information systems disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Leadership of the regional cyber security team and participation in the global cyber security community.
- Definition and management of regional policies, procedures, guidelines and standards in line with Essilor Group policies. Optimise supporting processes and management to add value to Essilor business.
- Oversight of information security delivery by suppliers, ensuring contract compliance and delivery.
- Monitor, maintain and fine-tune existing network and endpoint security infrastructure. Viz., Anti Malware, Anti-Virus, Web Application Firewall (WAF), Next Generation Firewall (NGFW), Encryption and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM).
- Work with the wider IT team on implementing security best practices within Essilor in house applications. Provide sound technical security advice.
- Conduct security audits and information security compliance reviews to monitor compliance against security policies, standards and requirements.
- Provide Security Advisory for potential Mergers and Acquisitions during Due Diligence process.
- Track and maintain security risk remediation plans with relevant parties to achieve compliance
with security requirements and mitigate identified risks to an acceptable level. - Report Security KPIs, vulnerabilities, non-compliance and other security exposures, including
misuse of information assets and non-compliance.
Minimum Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, MIS or related fields with more than 6yrs experience in related function includes 2yrs of management experience.
- CISSP, CISM or GIAC certification/s are highly preferred.
- Experience should include security policy development, security education, network penetration testing, application vulnerability assessments, risk analysis and compliance testing.
- Hands on experience with security technologies such as NGFW, WAF, SIEM, Endpoint Security,
- Secure Web Gateway, Identity and Access Management (IAM), Secure API Gateway etc.,
- Knowledge of industry best practices on Secure Software Development Life Cycle (SSDLC) such as OWASP etc.,
- Experience with information security and risk management frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, COBIT, ITIL etc.,
- Knowledge of Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS)
- Good problem solving and analytical skills and workshop facilitation skills
- Ability to learn and understand new concepts quickly to keep up with new emerging technology
- Excellent communication (oral, written, presentation), interpersonal and consultative skills.
