Job Description
- Receives oral and written orders from VP Engineering;
- Provide Technical Leadership while guiding and monitoring a team, he is also required to guide a junior technical to discuss all daily routine and all their responsibilities;
- Supervise the whole engineering procedures and best practices;
- Ensure that established procedure of Mets Logistics, Cold Dry Warehouse and Toll Processing areas are being followed;
- Monitor and meet all Technical KPI;
- In-charge of all maintenance related concern for the company;
- Perform other engineering related functions as required by the VP Engineering from time to time;
- Set an example of leadership and high standard of work ethics;
- Repair electrical equipment and control circuits; replaces faulty electrical switch;
- Response to emergency maintenance requests as required;
- Maintain records of scheduled maintenance procedures;
- Monitors the daily temperature of cold rooms equipment operations, readings, and status;
- Monitors monthly power consumptions on a per shift basis;
- Prepares and conducts Preventive Maintenance program for all plant equipment and facilities;
- Performs repairs and maintenance on all plant equipment and facility/utility;
- Safe keep engineering plans layouts and equipment manual;
- Supervise calibration of Thermometers, weighing scales and the likes;
- Maybe assign from time to time to other work tasks.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or any related courses;
- Ability to work unsupervised and within a team to achieve objectives within
appropriates timescales; - Flexibility in working hours in line with the project/work deadlines
- Strong analytical and planning skills;
- Good communication and presentation skills;
- Excellent problem-solving skills;
