Job Description
- Responsible in doing pricing study, and the release of final pricing of new business cases, renewals, and new products;
- Leads the case underwriting team in the preparation of underwriting studies and projects;
- Reviews contracts;
- Reviews product by-line performance and recommends measures for improvement;
- Maintains, monitors, and recommends manpower resource and development of the team’s capabilities;
- Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the team;
- Ensure that procedures and systems needed to support the day-to-day new business sales and renewal pricing are fully operational and responsive to meet business requirements;
- Ensure that service level commitments based on service level agreements committed to all internal stakeholders are adhered to and initiate appropriate actions as necessary to ensure that the required services are delivered accurately and promptly;
- Oversee and coordinate preparation, consolidation, and submission of management reports as may be required by senior management and the Regional office;
- Perform other tasks as may be required by immediate superior;
- Attend developmental programs including training & professional advancement activities.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of BS Math or equivalent;
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in group case underwriting;
- Minimum 3 years' management experience;
- Strong analytical and planning skills;
- Good communication and presentation skills;
- Excellent problem-solving skills;
