The Role: Senior Technology Content Writer

The Location: Philippines

The Team: This role will be part of a dynamic team that owns and delivers all enterprise-wide IT Business solutions. This position will support the Organizational Change Management Lead, Digital Technology Services and will report to the Director of Customer Success, Digital Workplace.

The Impact: As a Senior Technology Content Writer for Digital Technology Services (DTS), you will work alongside technology leaders to help make a real difference delivering user-centric technology to S&P Global employees all around the world.

What’s in it for you: The Digital Technology Services organization is responsible for the delivery of Infrastructure, Workplace, Security, and Enterprise Services. You will work with leaders across each of these areas, collaborating with colleagues to develop and craft internal communications and strategies.

Your day-to-day tasks will involve the following:

  • Creating and editing written content for direct end user communications, system notifications, training resources and other related end user documentation
  • Work closely with appropriate stakeholders to deliver communications (emails, calendar events, Intranet posts) via the most effective platform
  • Managing communications content, process documentation, project files, stakeholder registries and distribution lists
  • Running the Project Management and ownership of the DTS end user communication process
  • Designing and supporting the DTS Chief of Staff to administer the Technology Intranet space and subspaces
  • Developing creative assets as necessary i.e., visual graphics, newsletters designs, blog posts, etc.
  • Coordinating stakeholder and SME reviews and approvals for delivering communications, including alignment with Corporate Communications
  • Delivering communications (emails, calendar events, Intranet posts) via the appropriate platform
  • Tracking and reporting on metrics on end user engagement with communications
  • Partnering closely with Organization Change Management (OCM) to understand strategy and best practices to help create messaging and delivery across various stakeholder and end user groups

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with DTS technology teams & work closely with internal communications in development of key messages to be delivered to employees worldwide
  • Liaise with technology service owners and OCM lead to document service communication strategy, creation and delivery
  • Work closely with the Project Manager, Engineer and/or Corporate Communications to design and create Quick Reference Guides, User Manuals, “How-To” videos, etc.
  • In partnership with OCM, develop artifacts including templates for messages, alerts, actions, advisories and campaigns to drive maturity across the organization
  • Maintain the communication pipeline and calendar to enable the team to plan and forecast project/product communication needs
  • Align with key stakeholders in DTS (OCM, Corporate Communications (People), Chief of Staff, User Experience) for strategic planning and delivery of end user communications
  • Help execute the Organizational Change Management Plan, including work to source subject matter expertise and draft appropriate communications, presentations, electronic messaging, etc. to support enterprise adoption of new technology services, enhancements, and upgrades
  • Aid with the follow-up, tracking and delivery of other key divisional projects and programs

Minimum Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field: communications, English, computer science, management information systems, or business/communications with experience in technology
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant training/communications experience in internal communications
  • Exceptional English language; written and verbal communication skills, with superb ability to translate ideas into clear, compelling messaging
  • Strong project management and relationship management skills
  • Strong editing and proofreading skills
  • Detail-oriented professional with focus on ensuring accurate and complete deliverables
  • Developed problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Excellent organizational skills with demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize competing demands in a high pressure, dynamic work environment
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working on technology communications a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) as well as other Microsoft tools like Forms, Teams, Power Automate
  • Experience working with intranet platform
  • Understanding of end user workplace technologies
  • Experience with digital content, geared specifically toward employees of a global organization is a plus
  • Must be a self-starter in terms of research and process improvement, staying on top of the latest and greatest trends in employee communications
  • Innovative ideas and the ability to clearly express them
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple tasks for several projects at the same time, often on short timelines
  • Amenable to work in Pasig City or Buenos Aires with the appropriate work authorization.
  • Flexible to work in a mid-shift / rotating schedule.
