Job Description
- Partner with Engagement Owners, Vendor Managers, Procurement, and the business to support the End-to-end VM program
- Drive VM standards and serve as a single point of contact to the business and intermediary with the Procurement leads on VM program
- Lead VM adherence and compliance tasks and reporting
- Liaise with the Category Management, Internal legal dept., Engagement owners, and VM’s to drive VM processes
- This role will work closely with our risk organization in managing risk and to help shape a framework to manage risk effectively
- Serve as a liaison between internal and external parties during the VM process
- Provide SME/ in-depth knowledge of VM program within a large corporation and be able to drive and identify additional opportunities with stakeholders for improvement
- Partners with Divisional VMO offices to ensure VM focused compliance with the enterprise Vendor Governance Policy, SOPs, and various controls framework.
- Ensure SLAs/KPI’s around the VM process are enforced throughout the enterprise for all VM’s
- Manage mechanisms to monitor and maintain accurate performance data and Develop dashboards and analytics for VM Program
- Monitor costs, quality and effectiveness of the VM services/procedures while driving continuous improvement with lean methodology
- Scan for Adverse events on Enterprise Critical Vendors and serve as an escalation point for adverse events
- Works with identified EO’s to holistically document Vendor relationship and understand risks;
- Participates in Vendor Segmentation scoring/teiring and leading ongoing monitoring efforts
- Manages the overall Vendor relationship, and high-level governance;
- Monitors Vendor service level performance (SLAs, KPIs, etc.), issues/concerns/disputes, and improvement initiatives
- Escalates material risks and/or issues (adverse events) per the Vendor Governance Escalation Procedure to VGC
Minimum Qualifications
Requirements:
- Total Experience of 8 years, with at least 5 years’ experience in Procurement, Vendor Management, or Operational Excellence
- Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills in English
- Advanced Knowledge of MS Office Applications like Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Advanced proficiency and Full understanding of business processes and the role of data in compliance, risk management, and regulation (e.g., Basel II/III, Dodd-Frank, etc.).
- Strong Customer Centric focus and able to interact with VP level stakeholders and legal teams
- Proficiency in Analytical & Presentation Skills
- Experience leading, designing, and managing Vendor performance and monitoring processes with geographically-distributed service providers and stakeholders
- Demonstrated strength in effective influencing, negotiation, interpersonal, and communication
- Proactive & Persuasive Relationship with Client Stakeholders
- Strong knowledge of Vendor lifecycle management including onboarding, service delivery, compliance, termination, and reporting
- Expert at working with and handling vendor disputes/issues
- High level in expertise working with vendors to complete business reviews, continuous improvement projects, and/or Vendor qualifications (on-boarding/off-boarding processes)
- Exposure to and usage of Vendor Database/warehouse (MDM) tools to manage vendors
- Experienced serving as a primary Point of Contract for Vendor business development activities and executing Vendor relationship strategy
Optional Requirements:
- Basic Exposure to Procurement end to end Procurement processes for a Multi-National Corporation (MNC)
- Basic Understanding of Indirect Spend Categories like MRO, IT & Telecom, Facilities, Purchased Services & their Buying Patterns
- Exposure to operational excellence and process financial services expertise.
- Moderate understanding of Spend Analysis, Contracts enforcement, and relationship management
- Basic Knowledge of Ariba / Oracle / Other Legacy ERP Applications to include BI tools
- Expert at managing Vendor Database (MDM) tools and feeds in order to properly manage vendors
