The Location: Pasig City, Philippines

The Team: The Private Equity and Advisory Profiles team delivers research, content and analytics about the private capital markets that primarily includes private equity firms, venture capital firms, incubators, etc. SPGMI's private equity dataset is global, covering all major markets in both English and local language. Our collection teams are regionally focused, bringing market expertise and linguistic capabilities to offer the most comprehensive and accurate data. The team extensively covers US & Canada, Asia/Pacific, Latin America, and Middle East/Africa regions with multiple language capabilities.

The Impact: The Data Researcher will be responsible for relevant and market specific research and data collection on the private equity industry and activities in the covered region through key processes established. This is reflected directly on the product that our clients use. Additionally, the Data Researcher will also maintain the most up-to-date market knowledge document through collaboration with relevant stakeholders and participate in data clean-up projects to ensure the data integrity.

Responsibilities:

Your main responsibility will be to collect relevant private equity data through secondary research (website validation and update tracking, news) and primary research (survey and query)

For Secondary Research: Maintenance and development of relevant sources through regular monitoring of their relevancy

For Primary Research (Survey): Establish and maintain positive professional relationships with private equity professionals in the covered market to maintain and enhance our unique data

For Queries: Ensure that queries from both internal and external clients are addressed accurately, comprehensively, and timely

Collaborate with colleagues across various locations at different time zones globally to address any queries, present ideas, and execute projects

Participate in developing and executing projects to ensure data integrity and workflow enhancement

• University / College student or graduated (Preferable fields – though not exclusive-: Economics, Political Sciences, International Relationships, Business Administration, Finance, Business in general)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Lean principles, automation and machine translation
• Knowledge of any other European and Asian language an advantage
• Knowledge of SQL or macros
• University / College student or graduated (Preferable fields – though not exclusive-: Economics, Political Sciences, International Relationships, Business Administration, Finance, Business in general)
• As intensive training is provided, financial background is not essential; however an interest in the subject is desired.
• 1 year of previous work experience desirable
• Willing to work in Pasig Office (Tiendesitas Area)
• APAC Shift (9am-6pm)
