The Team:
The role will be part of the newly created Enterprise Financial Planning and Analyses (FP&A) capability at S&P Global. The Enterprise FP&A group is a significant departure from the current model comprised of a Corporate FP&A team and several divisional FP&A teams. The new operating model is one that is a hybrid, comprised of an augmented team with authority and capabilities at the corporate center and divisions retaining other FP&A responsibilities. We are looking for intellectually curious, progressive and passionate thinkers to join our group.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for assisting in the overall financial analysis / planning operation across the entire enterprise.
• Provide day to day support and insight to Enterprise FP&A team particularly around market news and external variables.
• Help maintain daily dashboards of company and competitive performance.
• Supports Finance digital efforts by streamlining and automating processes via technology.
• Input forecasting details into a new financial planning tool.
• Distribute monthly financial result reports.
• Assists with setting up PowerPoint templates or updating financial figures in existing templates.

What we’re looking for:

• 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance preferred
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite required
• Proven design abilities for reports/dashboards in financial technology solutions
• Motivated candidate with intellectual curiosity that is eager to learn
• Attentive to accuracy, looks for improvements continuously, monitors quality levels, and strong communicator
• Passionate about using data to drive business decisions
• Comfortable managing the delivery of high-quality outputs with tight time constraints
• Must be flexible in shift schedule
