Associate, Renewal Operations Support

The Role: As part of the Renewal Operations department, your responsibilities is to provide assistance to Sales with data compilation and analyses of a client’s behavior with Platts. The team’s data output should enable the account managers hold effective renewal negotiations with their accounts. Associates should ensure the timely and accurate processing of account folders that showcases client history in the last 3-5 years and provide relevant commercial insights to identify revenue leakage and commercial opportunities, and should be able to manage pro-active communication with Sales Reps and ensure relevant data are reviewed and reconciled prior to renewal discussions.

The Location: Silver City 2, Pasig City 1604, Manila, Philippines

The Team: This is a Pioneer Team for the whole S&P Global Platts.

The Impact: By producing accurate reports in a timely manner, the department will be able to help the Sales team understand our existing clients’ needs, improving their customized offerings for higher client retention probability.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare account analysis for Sales prior to their renewal discussions
• Extract data related to client’s financial relationship with Platts (including revenue & discounting history, payment habits)
• Extract data from various internal sources related to product delivery (historical and current / by geography / by channel)
• Conduct research using internal databases to map contract model and history (MSA/SA, Standard to EPM)
• Perform user analysis to identify increase & decrease of users in the last 3-5 years, including geographic movement
• Identify untapped client potential (by commodity, location etc.)
• Research on latest company news & announcements (Mergers & Acquisition, Bankruptcy etc.)
• Utilize Cap IQ data for client profiling
• Analyze contracts & entitlements to identify potential revenue leakage, opportunities for entitlements systems cleanup and other gaps
• Track usage history (peaks, volume, last login data)
• Process account folders according to renewal schedule driven by Sales Team
• As necessary, ensure that client is compliant with Platts pricing and legal rules
• Reconcile renewal pricing for Sales subscription review
• Apply business renewal rules – YoY price adjustments, analytics pricing terms
• Work across Platts organization to resolve issues in a timely manner
• Document all activities, communication and progress in SFDC
• Completes other assignments as required and/or assigned

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education and experience; preferably Economics, Statistics
• Excellent English speaking skills required (oral and in written)
• 2 – 4 years of related work experience or related degree.
• Market analysis or data reconciliation experience would be an advantage
• Experience working in a fast paced environment with Commercial organization
