Job Description

  • Work with the BM, and other members of the marketing team of the brand on the planning and organization of marketing initiatives and events – such as conducting research, setting up seminars/workshops/client briefings, newsletters and other forms of professional services marketing tactics
  • Work with the BM, and other members of the marketing and sales team of the brand on identification and implementation of new initiatives and product campaign launches into the market place ensuring all opportunities for promotion are fully exploited
  • Provide hands-on support in speculative, informal, formal bids and proposals – from inception through the presentation stage to assist, to achieve new business objectives. This includes maintaining good professional working relationships with suppliers, etc.
  • Maintain the brand activities calendar, and ensuring all events are captured, communicating all information to the BM and sales teams of the Business Unit / Group on a regular basis by updating the calendar on a monthly basis with a relevant product and marketing information
  • Coordinate and implement the day-to-day operations of the brand’s marketing function, dealing with all general marketing inquiries, reporting requirements. This involves being responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of weekly, monthly sell in and sell out reports, by giving relevant product /marketing/customer trends information as well as updating and maintaining current systems to provide easy logical access to required resources for customer profiles, etc.
  • Responsible for any amendments/projects that arise as a result of events, mailings or other targeting activities, after these customer-related events are implemented
  • Maintain the marketing libraries such as marketing materials, stocks, (e.g. printed information, customer profile cards, visual merchandising, point of sales items) and all forms of proposal information (including submission of information to all relevant groups/division within the company)
  • Maintain records of budget expenditure (relevant to the marketing of the brand) to a standardized reporting format; this includes preparing forms for the set-up of new models, price changes, and promotion
  • Schedule a routine which includes the collation and analysis of competitor information such as prices, activities, etc and to undertake marketing studies on behalf of the brand, identifying specific market trends and characteristics
  • Actively contribute to the business planning, whether for the brand, group/division, the company, and/or specific projects
  • Attend certain group / division meetings to provide a conduit information back to BM. Ensuring all actions are followed up on and delivered
  • Assist in maintaining a close working relationship with the Advertising and Marketing Communications team and all relevant internal departments including Customer Relation and Sales and Logistics (Warehouse), as well as external support such as the PR agency, events managers, etc., as liaising with these teams are key for events projects, PR Activities, Logistic requirements, etc.
  • Implement and sustain internal and external events and exhibitions as required
  • Provide a point of contact and deal with inquiries in the absence of the BM
  • Provide general assistance to the BM

Minimum Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing, Advertising/Media, or any business-related course.
  • With at least 2 years work experience in handling brand marketing/product management.
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be assertive, confident and dynamic.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Must have strong analytical and planning skills.
  • Must have excellent problem-solving skills.
