Job Description
- Responding to requests for information releases or press conferences from the media or other business units
- Organize PR events (e.g. open days, press conferences) and serve as the company’s spokesperson if needed
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with clients, partners, community, employees, and public interest groups
- Form strong relationships with news outlets, bloggers, and businesses to enhance outreach initiatives
- Manage PR suppliers, monitor the quality, and provide professional solutions promptly according to product requirements and changes in circumstances
- Writing press releases and other media communications to promote RR, its talents, services, and clients
- Planning or directing the development of programs to maintain favorable public and stockholder views of the company's agenda and accomplishments.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. marketing) and maintain open communication with senior management
- Coaching account managers, marketing officers, and talent handlers in effective communication with both their clients and counterparts
- Studying the organization's objectives, promotional policies, and needs to build public relations strategies that influence public opinion and promote products, ideas, and services.
- Preparing and editing organizational publications, including employee and subscriber newsletters
- Updating and maintaining Web content in collaboration with our Digital Media Officer
- Monitor and update promotional material and publications (brochures, videos, social media posts etc.) as deemed necessary
Minimum Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Public Relations Officer or similar PR role
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College degree in Mass Communications, Communication, Communication Arts, or equivalent.
- Preferably with 2 years of Relevant working experience
- Experience managing media relations (online, broadcast, and print)
- Possess specific trend insight capabilities in the media industry (advertising, creatives, gaming, tech)
- Background in researching, writing, and editing publications
- Excellent writing skills with a variety of approaches (promotional, news, business)
- Proficient in MS Office and social media
- Proficiency with video/photo editing is a plus
- Self-starter and assertive attention to detail
- Strong communication ability (oral and written)
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Creativity and problem-solving aptitude
