Job Description
- Reporting to Restaurant Manager/ Group Manager
- Shall ensure the smooth running of the Restuarant Operations during your shift in the restaurant in line with the Company's business objectives
- Shall Plan, coordinate and supervise activities of a staff of both the front of the staff and the back of the house to attain high standards of product quality service as well as health and safety.
- Shall assist in managing the restaurant inventory through proper planning and utilization of available resources
- Shall ensure that all equipment and in-store facilities conform to sanitary/regulations and to ensure strict compliance with Safety and Sanitation policies and procedures
- Meeting sales target, quality and service standards
- In charge of scheduling, Training, and Supervision of assigned staff
- Assist Restaurant Manager in maintaining stocks and inventory of food and beverage
- Provide excellent guest/customer experience and improved business of the restaurant
- Checked restaurant on daily basis to ensure cleanliness, high-quality food, and food preparation
- Informed employees about daily events and conducted pre-shift meetings to ensure they are clear about events
- Supervised cash policies, procedures, and handling
- Assist in Sales and Marketing Activities
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Restaurant Management, or related field; or equivalent experience is preferred
- With extensive restaurant operations experience
- Ability to interview, hire and train other employees
- Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to effectively drive sales and profit
- Proven success of building and cultivating strong, positive working relationships
- With ability to drive profitable growth while continuously improving customer satisfaction
- With knowledge of profit and loss
- Strong leadership skills with proven ability to build relationships with customers, vendors, and associates.
- Proven track record in maintaining strong cost controls, and quality standards.
- Prior knowledge with Performance Management
- Prior knowledge with Coaching & Corrective Action
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and higly energized working environment
- Resourceful with excellent management and interpersonal skills

About Rufo's Famous Restaurant Systems, Inc.
In 1984, a group of officemates opened a small eatery along kalayaan Ave. corner Salamanca St. across the International School Manila in Makati City. Their goal was simple: open a cozy 24-hour hangout, sell cheap beer, serve delicious Pinoy comfort food and earn extra income. They decided on the unique and catchy name, "Rufo's", the name of their boss at work. For decades, Rufo's built a cult following for serving their iconic Tapsilog or Tapa (fried beef strips), Sinangag (garlic rice) and Itlog (fried egg) - A Filipino" All-Day Breakfast" dish. Rufo's Tapa recipe was so famous for its rich, sweet,mouth-watering sauce that customers swore by its slogan, " Sauce Pa Lang, Ulma Na! ( The Sauce is a Dish on is Own!"). The success of this Makati Eatery helped popularize the local Tapsihan, A Philippine version of the American Diner, serving local Breakfast fare 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. By 2003, businessman Paul Izon Reyes acquired the store, founded Rufo's Famous Franchise Corporation and engineered the brand's expansion through Franchising . Reyes, a fan of Rufo's (since his student days in the International School Manila), professionalized its business systems and partnered with Francorp, the world leader in Franchise development, to create the Rufo's Famous Franchise Program. Today, Rufo's operates a chain of 24/7 fast-casual Filipino restaurants all over Metro Manila and nearby provinces.
