Job Description
The Warehouse Supervisor ensures the smooth day to day running of all Warehouse & Logistics Department related functions included and not limited to:
- Receiving
- Dispatching
- Storage
- Personnel
The Warehouse & Logistics department is an integral part of the Company’s main income and thus must run with top quality, precision, professionalism, and efficiency-performance in mind.
- Supervises the proper handling of Incoming/Outgoing merchandise.
- Checks that the stocks are stored in their specific assigned location and storage condition as per Regulatory recommendations.
- Ensures that the 'First Expiry First Out' (FEFO) method is correctly followed (with the exception on merchandise where the shelf life is shorter than normal).
- Supervises proper preparation of items for daily delivery.
- Ensures that items are correct and checked accordingly during dispatching.
- Supervises the periodic Pest Control maintenance of the entire warehouse both inside and outside.
- Trains all warehouse personnel in relevant areas.
- Performs other functions that may/be assigned from time to time by the Warehouse & Logistics Manager.
Note: Target start date is on January 2020 onwards
Minimum Qualifications
- College graduate of any business or science course.
- At least three (3) years related experience.
- Computer literate at least in Basic Microsoft Software such as Word, Excel etc.
- Team leader and team player, self-starter who gets work done with good analytical and good judgement.
- Fluent in oral and written communication in English.
