Job Description
AS PLANT MANAGER:
- Be responsible for overall supply chain operations including procurement, warehousing, production, and logistics.
- Plan raw material procurement, production, and logistics schedule including product development and quality assurance.
- Be in charge of equipment management and maintenance.
- Support sales and service operations by providing technical product and usage information.
- Support HR and Admin Department on employee and warehouse security.
- Lead, coach, and develop a productive and well-disciplined workforce.
- Show general awareness of Health and Safety in relation to all tasks and activities undertaken in the project/s.
AS CHEMIST:
- Continuously conduct laboratory and field tests to validate or improve product performance and cost efficiency.
- Provide solutions and recommendations to product and usage problems and meet overall product objectives.
- Proactively develop technical knowledge in Supply Chain Management and remain up-to-date on current trends and best practices.
- Explore and pursue innovation/technologies to develop new or existing products.
Minimum Qualifications
- Licensed Chemical Engineer.
- Currently or formerly engaged in the Paint Industry.
- At least 2 years working experience as a Paint Chemist.
- At least 3 years experience in Supply Chain Management.
- Expert on Procurement, Warehousing, Production and Logistics.
- Currently on an Assistant Manager level or above.
