Warehouse Supervisor  

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

A. Receiving

• Supervises the receiving of imported and/or local goods from the supplier.
• Directs the preparation of the necessary receiving documents within the specified time and sees to it that all deliveries are within the company specifications.
• Supervises the checking and inspection of items returned by dealers / stores and segregation of B.O items from good stocks. Directs the preparation of supporting documents for all the returns.
• Accounts all documents pertaining to sales order processing and sees to it that all issuances observe and maintain the prescribed lead time.

B. Administrative

• Assists the Warehouse Manager in evaluating the performance of personnel under his/her supervision.
• Assists the Warehouse Manager in the implementation of the Company Rules and Regulations, specifically on attendance and discipline.
• Implements security and safety measures and maintains good housekeeping to protect the merchandise, facilities, fixed assets and the whole warehouse as well.
• Prepares and submits reports required by the Warehouse Manager and other officers with regards to inbound affairs.

• Identifies scrap materials for disposal. Coordinates and negotiates with potential buyers of the scraps.

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing, Advertising/Media, or any business-related course.
• With at least 2 years work experience in warehouse management.
• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be computer literate.
• Strong analytical and planning skills;
• Excellent problem-solving skills;
