Job Description

Job Brief:

The School Marketing Manager will lead and implement the marketing strategy for Discovery Academy of Innovation. Responsibilities include hitting or exceeding targets for online and traditional channels. The School Marketing Manager will also prepare marketing reports and analyses. She will work closely with SparkleLAB’s product team and establish and nurture relationships with press, event organizers, parent influencers, and bloggers. The Marketing Manager reports to the CEO.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementing marketing and enrollment strategies
  • Producing materials for integrated marketing: school marketing materials, press kits, website and social media content, email marketing, events
  • Copy-writing

Responsibilities:

  • Communicating with external partners and team members to align resources for marketing the school
  • Organizing and running marketing-related meetings and tracking the resulting decisions and details through delivery
  • Tracking projects from purchase order through invoicing
  • Gathering necessary assets to develop a campaign (photos, copy, digital assets, brochures, press kits, etc.)
  • Briefing the product and creative team members on marketing projects
  • Recommending marketing tactics to school management
  • Communicating timelines to team mem- bers and external contacts, obtaining feedback, working through edits/revisions, and obtaining project approvals
  • Confirming all billing information is recorded and associated with the appropri- ate projects
  • Help in leading strategy and planning sessions for marketing campaigns
  • Developing, reviewing, and sending proposals for new marketing opportunities
  • Contributing to the research, development and production of quality content for online and offline channels
  • Reviewing final work to make sure it’s in alignment with the school marketing strategy
  • Increasing awareness of school brand, products, and services through outreach and social media amplification
  • Optimizing campaigns for SEO using keyword research, then developing metrics to show ROI
  • Developing well-structured content for use in marketing automation
  • Monitoring the health of the client relationship through proactive communication and regular check-ins
  • Establishing and nurturing relationships with parent influencers, mommy bloggers, event organizers, the press (all channels), partners, parents.
  • Establishing and nurturing the school community (stakeholders, parents/ families), whether online (including social media community management) or offline
  • Leading project management for all school events whether for internal or external groups
