Job Description
- Create innovative design concepts for all digital platforms (i.e. social media, website, email), visual merchandising, point of purchase, print materials while maintaining brand identity
- Work with the department head to set-up a strategic program of content in order to increase following on all Gemline digital channels;
- Manage day-to-day content uploading in a variety of content management systems;
- Produce short-form & long-form videos and photos, with a team or independently;
- Edit and proofread a variety of content types for the website, ensuring it meets style, tone and marketing message requirements, as well as reflecting the Gemline brand;
- Ensure treatments meet specific briefs, be logical, coherent, objective, strategic, entertaining or a combination of these;
- Manage all production and project administration e.g. budget creation, timelines, casting briefs, release forms and booking travel arrangements;
- Responsible for the safekeeping of fine jewelry and digital equipment at the in-house studio and offsite;
- Provide production support for live events when required
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience in developing brand, campaign and content strategy;
- Good understanding of social platforms and non-traditional brand communications;
- Excellent storytelling capabilities to bring ideas to life;
- Top-notch spelling, grammar, proofreading and editing skills;
- Must have strong shooting experience, be able to shoot stills and be confident working independently on location;
- Deep knowledge of technological, media and cultural trends;
- Masterful working with Adobe software packages; Premiere Pro, Lightroom and Photoshop;
- Excellent layouting and typographic skills;
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects
- Experience in a high volume, fast paced and dynamic environment
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Passion for fashion, beauty, or lifestyle brands
- Experience working with retail or luxury brands is a plus
