Job Description
The Category Manager plays a vital role in the Health & Beauty and Cosmetics & Perfumes Departments of Robinsons Beauty Section. You are responsible for identifying space allocation, merchandise assortment & standards, adjacency planning and display guidelines based on set requirements to improve turnover and influence the customer’s shopping behavior.
Responsibilities
- Recommends category layout for new stores, stores undergoing renovation, and adjacencies of the categories in the stores.
- Analyzes and tests supplier-merchandising strategies and proposal in developing categories.
- Creates, updates, and provides the stores with shelf display guidelines per category.
- Develops and provides tools that can be used to identify efficient product assortment per cluster.
- Responsible for maximizing space capacity and profitability.
- Determine product standards, macro and micro space management, and tools for faster and accurate data analysis
- Understand consumer needs and has a commercial mindset of marketing and sales principles

Minimum Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Management or equivalent
- Preferably with at least 5-7 years working experience in the related field is required for this position
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and creative skills
- Computer literate with advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office (MS Excel)
- Good knowledge and understanding of retail operations and consumer trends
- Process oriented, detail oriented, and strategic in improving data management
