Job Description
We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our growing team of analytics experts. The candidate will serve as a bridge between business users and data professionals (data engineers, data scientists, and data visualization developers) to provide retails knowledge about the data sets, business processes, and methods by which the company analyzes information to improve quality and the effectivity of our analytics solutions. The hire will collect, organize and interpret statistical information to make it useful for a range of businesses and organizations.
Responsibilities:
- Work with Business stakeholders in identifying business requirements for analytics projects, products, and programs of work that maximize business impact / benefits within a realistic setting
- Document business requirements and deliveries in a continuous manor
- Visualize process changes in collaboration with business stakeholders and the IT user adoption team, to establish mutual understanding and accountability
- Apply business analysis understanding and common sense into day to day deliveries
- Define new data collection and analysis processes
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , any field.
- At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Demonstrable experience in the retail industry
- Experience of working with Customer Master Data/ Data Management
- Practical experience of documenting business processes using specified process methodologies
- Knowledge and practical experience of mapping retail business processes
- Knowledge of specified structured analysis techniques
- Experience of documenting requirements in a structured template
- Ability to rapidly and thoroughly understand the environment in which you will operate (people, applications, technology, process)
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to describe findings or the way techniques work to audiences, both technical and non-technical
- Self-driven and motivated with desire to work in a results-driven environment with varied responsibilities
- Leadership and management skills
- An interest in, and understanding of, project management techniques and computing systems
