Job Description
The position is responsible in providing technical advise & training regarding pet care, handling and treatment standards.
1. Pet Care Standards
- Formulates standard procedures & guidelines in handling pets in the stores which include proper housekeeping, maintenance, feeding and other safety procedures.
2. Product Knowledge
- Acquaints himself with the products and services of PLC.
- Develops & Conducts employee training programs that cover
- fundamental procedures on who to take care of the pets inside the store.
3. Pet Care and Medication
- Evaluates pet/animals for general signs of illness, disease or injury.
- Provides immediate medical care for any sick or injured animal to ensure its well-being and to prevent the spread of disease.
4. Regulatory Compliance
- Acts as a consultant in compliance with the Philippine regulations with regards to animal welfare, etc.
- Acquaints himself with the local laws and/or regulations concerning animal welfare and health.
- Develop disposal methods and facilities that comply with applicable local laws and regulations relating to pollution control and environmental protection.
5. Reportorial Management
- Ensures that any required permits, licenses or other required documents are readily available during normal business hours for inspection by appropriate governmental officials.
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Veterinary, Animal Science or equivalent.
- No work experience required.
- Full-Time position available.
- Applicants must be willing to work in UP Town Center Katipunan.
