Job Description
Data Analytics Officer main focus is to gather and analyze data and transform them to data insights for Merchandising and Marketing.
- Analyzes the data with regards to customer demographics, buying behavior, the frequency of purchase, products purchased and other available information.
- Simulates and forecast any promotions offered to vendors to determine feasibility and identify projected sales output.
- Analyzes Trends and sales performance of products per category.
- Prepares reports and analysis of regional and local market profile, shopping trends, progress and other relevant developments in the area which may be used as inputs in developing marketing programs in coordination with the other departments
- Simulates and forecast proposed strategies and present it to Marketing & Merchandising to determine its feasibility and analyzes & evaluates promotions executions based on the available data from CRM or Merchandising.
- Employs marketing analytic techniques to gather important data (social media, web analytics, rankings, etc.). Tracking of online data and performance (i.e. Google Analytics, Facebook and Instagram Insights, Website.
- Coordinates with Marketing Manager and assigned Marketing Coordinators with regards to online ads monitoring and budgeting i.e. SEO/SEM, Google ads, and social media ads.
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent.
- Preferably Specializing in Digital Marketing/Business Management or equivalent.
- Strong analytical and planning skills;
- Good communication and presentation skills
- With technical background on using any of the following or similar visualization tools: Excel Pivot, Tableau, QlikView, Power BI etc. is an advantage
- Excellent problem-solving skills;
- At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
