Job Description

The Finance Coordinator is tasked with handling all physical and digital money of the company. They are in charge of managing the company bank accounts and ensuring that company funds are always safe and accounted for. In addition, the Finance Coordinator may offer advice to management on how to best manage cash-flow and even corporate investments for the long term future.

On a day to day basis, the job is to process payment requests, prepare the necessary vouchers to be approved and logged in the accounting software, before preparing, releasing, and reconciling checks for payment.

The Finance Coordinator also performs Credit and Collection duties to ensure that payments from customers given terms are always paid on time, and that customers do not breach their credit limits to endanger the company. As the guardian of the fruits of our labour, it is vital that he/she performs promptly, accurately, and clearly with integrity.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduate of Accountancy, Commerce, Management Accounting, Accounting Technology, or Business
  • Must have at least 1 to 2 years experience in Finance and Payables
  • Mature, independent, hardworking, honest, good communication skills.
  • Good command in English.
  • Must possess good analytical ability.
  • Knowledge in payables function.
  • Exposure in all phases of accounting.
  • Capability/potential for acquiring higher responsibilities.
  • Computer literate in Windows environment and other commonly used Accounting software.
