Job Description
We are seeking a senior PHP Developer to join our growing startup team. This full stack development role will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, deployment & support of our SaaS product.
- Design, develop, and maintain various backend APIs and web applications with a variety of languages including but not limited to PHP, JavaScript, and HTML.
- Troubleshoots, identifies and resolves performance problems.
- Collaborate with peers on best practices and promote knowledge sharing.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience with Object Oriented Programming, and MVC frameworks (CodeIgniter / Laravel).
- Minimum 3 years of experience of:
- PHP development
- SQL and database modeling. (Preferably MySQL)
- HTML, CSS, and familiarity with frameworks such as Bootstrap and Foundation.
- Javascript and familiarity with frameworks such as AngularJS.
- Linux systems administration experience especially for web and database. (Preferably CentOS or RHEL)
- Experience building and consuming REST and SOAP API services.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Willing and capable of picking up a new language or framework.
- Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally.
