Job Description
A Renegade Folk Store Sales Associate is more than just a salesperson. You are Renegade Folk’s host in our store. You’re creating a special environment in our store. You’re being a friend that gives the best advice on how, when and why to use Renegade Folk products. You play an important role in offering a unique offline experience to all of our customers. You are the face of our company. You embody our values. You are always friendly and hospitable. You always want the best Renegade Folk experience to all of our customers.
Results Needed:
We are looking for a results-driven store sales associate responsible for all sales activities and operations of our U.P. Town Center store. This position is accountable for U.P. Town Center’s sales performance, operations, and customer experience.
Responsibilities:
- Achieves and exceeds sales target by taking care of customers & making sure they always get the best Renegade Folk experience.
- Welcomes customers and introduces them to the Renegade Folk brand and experience.
- Creates a special atmosphere in the store & engage with customers at every touch point.
- Makes sure that the store is always presentable & reflects Renegade Folk’s current marketing campaigns.
- Ensures that shoes are always displayed in the right areas.
- Shares deep company and product knowledge as well as personal experiences with Renegade Folk while facilitating the best experience for the customer.
- Helps customers choose the right products for them.
- Finds solutions when challenges come up and always have the customers’ experience & best interest in mind.
- Builds trust relationships with customers by knowing them personally & knowing their preferences.
- Optimizes the flow of the store and facilitates a well-coordinated operation with the rest of the team.
- Cleans and organizes the store and supports the overall operation.
- Receives, verifies, carefully checks every delivery of merchandise to make sure they’re up to RF’s standards.
- Takes good care of their store’s inventory. Makes sure that everything is accounted for and in great quality.
- Understands, accomplishes and uses store reports. Makes sure that they’re always accomplished on time, leans on them heavily for data & insights.
Minimum Qualifications
Qualifications:
1. Impeccable hospitality & customer service skills (should be able to identify customers’ needs & tailor their experiences accordingly)
2. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, crowded, environment
3. Approachable: acts like a friend that gives great advice, with a personal touch
4. Positive energy: has a “no such thing as a stupid question” attitude
5. Ability to own and navigate difficult situations, always with a positive approach
6. Great communication skills: can communicate with anyone—patience is key
7. Experience in a high-volume, customer facing role
8. Roll-up-your-sleeves attitude (no task is too small)
9. Ability to identify opportunities, be creative and generate insights for improvement
10. Quick to learn, responsible and accountable
