Nook is looking for a Business Development superstar to source, secure and retain key relationships with mainly property developers, plus real estate firms, and complimentary businesses in order to drive top line growth for the company via customer referrals.
Principally a business development role, it involves the signing of partnership agreements to ensure the referral of home loan borrowers flow seamlessly and continuously to Nook.

Nook is the Philippines first mortgage brokering firm. We've teamed up with some of the country's biggest banks with the goal of making home loans simple. Banks don't exactly make the home loan process easy so we're bringing our 'Team + Technology' approach to streamline the loan process and modernise it.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Planning and overseeing business development initiatives, principally for the property developer / real estate industry.
- Source and pitch to key decision makers to secure new mutually beneficial relationships.
- Sign agreements with property developers, real estate firms and strategically aligned companies for the purpose of them referring potential home loan borrowers to Nook.
- Network and find potential new partners.
- Become a recognized industry figure for the Nook brand.
- Achieve strong revenue growth, month-on-month
- Maintain relationships with partners to ensure the smooth flow of new home loan referrals every month.
- Source and immediately act on any feedback from partnerships, good or bad. Always ensure high satisfaction ratings from partners and their referred home loan borrowers.
- Assist with the accreditation of property developers with our bank partners.
Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge Required:
- Knowledge of the real estate industry an advantage.
- Some knowledge of the banking industry an advantage.
- Some knowledge of home loans an advantage.
- Knowledge of Salesforce.com.
Experience and Attributes Required:
- 5+ years in a sales or business development role.
- Strong interpersonal and persuasion skills.
- Strong closing skills.
- Proven track record of sales success (that can be verified).
- Willingness to learn more about sales and persuasion.
- Data-focused approach to sales activities.
- Proper sales pipeline management.
