Reading Specialists

Established in 2004, the Reading Specialists is a reading center that provides literacy assessment, individualized reading intervention, and enrichment to students aged 4 to 12-years-old. Many of them have neurodevelopmental disorders such as learning disorders, autism, and attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder. Often, they struggle in literacy areas such as vocabulary/language development, word reading, reading fluency, spelling, and written expression. Our goal is to help students become independent readers and writers using evidence-based practices.
