Job Description
- Owns and accounts for UI/UX design implementation of mobile software products and experiences developed within the EU Portal cross-functional team;
- Translates UI/UX wireframes, interaction designs, and prototypes into functional, best-in-class, user-focused, competitive, and intuitive user experiences;
- Works within a cross-functional team in an Agile/SCRUM development cycle to deliver industry-leading innovations that drive commerce; and
- Cultivates your own understanding of user problems and opportunities for improvement and share your insights.
Minimum Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, HCI or technology-related field, including
- Three-plus years of Mac/iOS and/or Android Java development
- Deep understanding of your mobile platforms SDK
- Proficiency in Computer Science fundamentals OO development, data structures, algorithm - design, problem solving, and complexity analysis
- Proficiency in CSS2/CSS3, HTML 5, and OS UI frameworks (jQuery, Bootstrap, NodeJS, LESS)
- Agile (e.g. SCRUM), iterative and Waterfall software development certifications and/or equivalent experience
- Experience using Git or other source code version control systems2
- Solid knowledge of backend server components, APIs, and performance optimization
- Connect, consume, and parse external services via XML/JSON or SOAP
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication
- Leadership, influencing, decision, problem-solving, and strategic management skills to facilitate working in a global, cross-functional team
- Ability to work well within a diverse team and a variety of personalities
- Limited to moderate travel
